Seth Cogswell

Seth is a Strategic Partner of Stanton Group Wealth Partners, since 2024.     He is the founder, and managing partners, at Running Oak Capital,  a Minnesota-based boutique investment firm, that provides portfolio management services to Registered Investment Advisors like Stanton Group.  

Running Oaks investment style is a rules-based investment process, that promotes discipline and objectivity, eliminating emotion from the investment management process.  The process is called "Efficient Growth" , investing in companies that offer higher earnings growth, attractive valuations, and historically lower downside risk.

Seth also lived and worked in New York for 14 years, where he was a lead portfolio manager at Trillium Asset Management. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Operations Research and earned his MBA from The Wharton School in Pennsylvania.
